It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but just wanted to Clarify a rumor that’s going around. A supposed "tip" was released to Bloody-Disgusting.com that Scream 4 is going to be in 3D.

I would certainly hope it’s not going to be in 3D because I just don’t envision any Scream Movie in 3D. I think it would be too cheesy! Well after wondering if the rumor was true or not it seems to have fallen flat with Kevin Williamson posting directly to his Twitter. He Says "What is this Scream 4 in 3D? First I heard of it." Then he follows up with "Guys? Really? 3D? Nahhhhh."

Seems like he has set the record straight. No 3D for Scream! And that’s the way it should be!

One Request i would like though… A Scream Video Game!!!! I wanted that throughout the first Trilogy. If they can do it for LOST then it’s possible for Scream!

Wow… I didn’t even know they were making a sequel but here’s the trailer. I loved the first one and the second one looks promising.

I’ve had a really enjoyable B-Day Weekend… Which I will post about with pics later but I just had to mention what I read on Bloody-Disgusting.com It’s like the Best BDay Present EVER!!!! Bloody-Disgusting.com caught up with Wes Craven an asked him about the rumors about a Scream 4.

Craven confirmed that the Wesinteins are moving forward on a Scream 4, while also telling what it would take to get him back in the director’s chair.

“It would take it being really as good a script as the first one was,” explaining that he should also be compensated for his work on the franchise, “and the pay day reflects what I’ve done for that company and what Ive gone through on Cursed (laughs).”

When asked if he is involved at all in the new film’s tory, he explained, “I don’t know his ideas at all. But they have made a deal with Kevin Williamson (Scream 1 & Scream 2 writer) to write.”

Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox-Arquette & David Arquette are all in talks to have a cameo role in the film. To me I think #1 they should kill them all off at the beginning or have one of them be the Killer in the End!!!!! Let the rumors and speculation begin!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!

Filmmakers Kevin Woods and DeMar Richardson just gave Fango the heads up on a new indie they’re developing in South Carolina called DEAD MONEY. Set to lens in early 2009, the film pits a group of criminals against the undead while standing ground in an abadoned house.

Directed by DeMar Richardson, DEAD MONEY goes a little something like this: A group of thieves rip off a drug dealer, stealing a quarter of a million dollars and 4 kilos of cocaine. They rendezvous with another drug kingpin, Castillo, in an isolated meeting spot out in the country to sell the drugs unaware that they have a team of highly skilled professional hitmen hot on their trail. With no contact with the outside world – no cell phone reception, no television – things take a turn for the worse when the thieves, the drug dealers, and the assassins have to team up to stay alive and fight off an onslaught of the living dead. As the zombies pick off the eclectic group of undesirables, the remaining living gangsters hole up inside an old home, trying to survive this zombie Armageddon all the while trying to be the last man standing with the money.

Richardson adds "I felt this would be the perfect opportunity to combine our distinct film making styles and come up with something totally innovative."

DEAD MONEY is being escribed as a mix between FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, DAWN OF THE DEAD, SMOKIN’ ACES, and VERSUS, wrapped into one tasty morsel.

So, this weekend (on my date) I saw The Haunting of Molly Hartley…. It was an ok movie I guess… They needed to go more into detail about why what happens happened if you know what I mean. They set it up for a sequel to give us the answers I guess…. Check out the first 6 minutes!
