The 27-year-old singer - who has two children, Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James with ex-husband Kevin, who currently has full custody of the pair’s sons - has reportedly decided to give her relationship with the rapper another chance.

A source said: "Kevin has been staying over a lot but I don’t think it will be long until they are living together full-time again. They have slipped back into their old relationship really easily.

"Kevin is excited about living with Britney again because he finds it tough being a single dad. She is thrilled because she can have her kids back and a relationship with someone she trusts.

"Britney and Kevin have come to realise they still love each other. They have been seeing a counsellor and have drawn up a list of rules so they can improve their relationship."

However, friends of Britney have warned her Kevin may just want to rekindle his relationship with her because he misses the lifestyle he enjoyed as her husband.

The source added to Britain’s Look magazine: “When Kevin was with Britney, he spent his days golfing, going on holidays and driving the Ferrari she bought him. But Kevin maintains it’s Britney - not her money - he cares about. He is proud of Britney and how well she is now.

"He thinks she is the girl he fell in love with again. He really believes they have a future together."

After watching this video you can’t deny the Britney is HUGE! Look at what all she has acomplished. I think after her big Meltdown she is like a young in-experienced singer trying to make it big again. Her new album reminds me of her “In The Zone” days mixed with a little “Blackout” wrapped up in her “Britney” days…. It’s not as heavy as Blackout and features more than just dance-tastic hits. It brings back a softer side too. I can’t wait for more videos and to see what Britney has in store for her Tour in 2009!!!

James Spears was granted control of his daughter’s assets in February after she was admitted to a psychiatric ward.

The arrangement was due to expire on 31 December, but Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reza Goetz has now agreed to make it permanent.

Ms Spears had the situation explained to her and chose not to oppose it, a court-appointed lawyer said.

The 26-year-old could petition later to have the conservatorship removed, but the court’s order otherwise constitutes a lifetime arrangement, a court information officer said.

After three days of deliberations, a dozen citizens threw up their hands Tuesday and said they could not agree on whether the oft-troubled entertainer was guilty of driving without a license during a fender bender last year. Ten jurors wanted to acquit. Two voted for conviction.

A prosecutor later said that in light of the jury split, he was dropping the case, but not his belief that Spears was guilty. Voicing a complaint common to those who prosecute famous defendants in matters big and small, Deputy City Atty. Michael Amerian said, “It just goes to show, I think, how difficult it is to convict any celebrity of a crime here in Los Angeles.”The grudging dismissal was a fitting conclusion to a 13-month legal battle that featured lofty principles, rock-bottom stakes and the complete absence of the woman at its center.
