DaBrat’s off to Jail….. She was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for hitting a hostess in the head with a rum bottle during an altercation at a suburban Atlanta nightclub last fall.

The 34-year-old rapper, whose given name is Shawntae Harris, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in DeKalb County. Superior Court Judge Gail Flake sentenced her to three years behind bars and seven on probation, plus 200 hours of community service and completion of substance abuse treatment, mental evaluation and anger management classes.

Harris was at a private Halloween party at Studio 72, a club in Tucker, when she struck then-Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens, who was working part-time as a hostess.

A police report indicated Harris and Stevens got into a squabble after they bumped into each other. Stevens walked away and moments later was hit in the face with the bottle.

She sustained a deep cut to the cheek and some swelling on the forehead, and has a permanent scar on her face as a result, officials said.

WOW! I actually liked DaBrat. I enjoyed her on both The Surreal Life & Celebrity Fit Club. Too bad about her temper. Hopefully while she’s away it’ll give her time to reflect and come out a better person.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office suspended 26 deputies and detention officers for inappropriate emails or material in their email accounts. The suspensions range from one to five days without pay. Thirty-two other sheriff’s office employees received letters of reprimand.

13 Undercover discovered the inappropriate mail in January.

“The sheriff is not happy that the number of inappropriate emails are out there and I think you can tell his dissatisfaction by the discipline handed out,” said Deputy David Crain with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Why can’t these people come to work and just do their jobs…. I’m not aiming this at all officer/deputies because there are a ton of hard working ones but this was totally uncalled for.

It’s Friday and you know what that means… MOVIE TIME! As usual I want to go to the movies but probably won’t make it to the Theaters. I did however buy several DVDs yesterday so I’ll be hunkered down watching them all day Sunday. I’m FINALLY going to watch Fight Club!!! I still haven’t seen it. Pathetic I know…. I also bought 21, The Ruins, Shutter, & 10,000 BC…. I can’t wait to watch The Ruins too!!!!!!

The are a couple of good movies coming to theaters this weekend. The two I want to see are The House Bunny and Death Race. I really want to see Death Race. I’m a big Jason Stathom fan epspecially after seeing Crank. Check out the Trailer for it Below.

Barrack Obama has prolonged the announcement of his Vice Presidential Pick but he did reveal what he was looking for in his VP Pick.

Obama, 47, a first-term Illinois senator, said he had searched for a running mate who will be prepared to step in as president and one who could help him govern .

"The third criteria for me I think was independence. I want somebody who is going to challenge my thinking and not simply be a yes person when it comes to policy-making, " he said.

Obama’s announcement could come at any time, and he is expected to appear with his choice on Saturday in his home state of Illinois as they launch their run to the convention in Denver.

It was be awesome to see Hilary with him! It would be a total victory for both sides of the Democratic Party! He would win by a landslide come election time.
