For area bingo lovers, the wait is over. BootKikkers re-opened in July at Gulfway Plaza shopping center in La Marque, Interstate 45 and Delany Road.

Boot Kikkers has been without a hall since selling its 1231 I-45 property in League City to RV dealer Holiday World last year.

In the beginning, Boot Kikkers will open several days a week. But owners say they plan to eventually increase the number of days the hall is open, Anawaty said. Anawaty promises bingo players will be impressed with the new venue, which has an enclosed space and separate entry for nonsmokers.

Well the weekend flew by pretty fast. It was relatively quiet and I didn’t do much. I was supposed to go on a date…. but that didn’t happen. I got cancelled on.

Saturday I worked out. I did the Cardio Burn class with Candy and we worked out butts off! I am still sore today. And I will be working out all week. It’s a pain but it’ll all be worth it! Saturday night I watched football….. and the Cowboys lost (But so did the Patriots Candy so don’t be talking smack! lol)… Tony Romo started the Cowboys out with a solid drive down the field to score a touchdown. He was taken out of the game since it was only preseason (Don’t want to Risk an injury). Once he was out Johnson was in and he didn’t do to well. Careless Mistakes (a fumble and interception) cost the Cowboys the game. Oh well… it was only preseason! Once Tony Romo is in there with T.O, Marion Barber, & Jason Witten… along with newcomber Felix Jones they will be unstoppable! Cowboys to the Superbowl!!!!

Sunday I hungout at home with my mom and we cooked shrimp (fried & boiled)… YUM! They were really good… Too bad I won’t be eating any of the leftovers! Gotta eat healthy! We also watched The Mist on DVD. I liked it, well up until the ending…. I would’ve gave it an 8 out of 10 but because of the ending I give it a 6 out of 10!

It was a very good movie that kept my attention the whole way through. It had some very interesting characters! lol. I though they did a very good job. But yeah, was just a little dissapointed the way it turned out. Anyway. That was my weekend! Hopefully next weekend will be more exciting!

Police near Los Angeles say motorists stopped in speeding traffic to gather up bills Sunday after a man on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dropped a bag of cash.

They took off when the California Highway Patrol arrived.

The biker told authorities a computer bag he was carrying ripped and spilled money across Interstate 10, where people were driving in 65 mph traffic.

Highway Patrol Officer Anthony Martin says he doesn’t know how much cash was in the bag or how much drivers made away with.
